Yes, Libertas is accredited through the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).

No. While we encourage students and families to choose the best curriculum and methods available (which, to us, often falls towards classical education) it is not a requirement to be classically educated to be a part of Libertas Preparatory School.

Libertas Preparatory School is the independent study program at Trinity Classical Academy. Under that umbrella, students in grades K-6th can participate in Libertas LIVE which provides a weekly on-campus, enrichment program that includes worship, arts, science, writing, and drama. Registration in the traditional Libertas program is not required for participation in Libertas LIVE. For more information please visit LibertasPrep.com/LIVE.

Yes, as long as they are enrolled in Track #1. Spots are always available in Upper School (7th-12th) for athletic participation, but may be more limited for our Grammar School (K-6th). Please inquire with our staff for more information.

Yes, if they are enrolled in Track #1, all students will have a transcript on file with Libertas Preparatory School at Trinity Classical Academy.

Libertas Preparatory School at Trinity Classical Academy is a private, Christian Independent Study program. This means that we do not receive any state school funding and therefore we do not dispense funds to our families.

These low fees are due, in part, to the fact that Libertas does not provide curriculum. The enrollment fees (for Track #1) include state filing, record keeping, coordinator assistance, and curriculum advisement to facilitate an individualized educational plan. Individual families are responsible for purchasing their own curriculum outside of these fees. Please visit our Curriculum page for the approved curriculum list. 

Group sessions are held biannually for Libertas families to assist them in their college endeavors. Individualized counseling sessions are available for an additional fee.

All students will need to submit immunization records. In order to participate in on-campus classes, co-op classes, athletics, or any other on-campus activities students must be immunized or have a medical waiver.

Libertas Preparatory School provides official Junior High and High School transcripts. Libertas graduates also receive a Libertas Preparatory School at Trinity Classical Academy diploma.

Libertas Preparatory School offers weekly enrichment classes for K-6 students through the Libertas LIVE program, and access to additional afternoon enrichment classes at Trinity Classical Academy. Students in grades 7-8 have the option of enrolling in various Trinity classes and Co-op classes and are welcome to participate in the Trinity Sports program. For our students in grades 9 – 12, we offer weekly academic classes taught by qualified instructors through the Libertas Prep Co-op, and through the new High School Science Program which uses curriculum created by Dr. Dennis Englin at the Master’s University. High school students may also enroll in enrichment classes and a select number of regular, honors, AP and dual credit college courses at Trinity Classical Academy. All students in grades 9 – 12 are welcome and encouraged to participate in CIF sports at Trinity! 

Libertas Preparatory School provides a long list of highly recommended curricula and programs for use by our independent study families. We offer complimentary consultations and support for each family. Access to college counseling and standardized testing are also available.

Libertas is proud to offer a variety of educational field trips, game nights, holiday gatherings, Moms night out events, family picnics and park days, special interest classes such as bowling and sewing, and access to chapel, service projects, concerts and other Trinity events throughout the year. To celebrate all that our students have accomplished, we culminate each school year with an amazing Promotion and Graduation ceremony!
