Music in the Morning


November 9, 2017 – This morning, there was music in the air when the Orchestra performed for a Open House of families, friends, and faculty. Mrs. Hernacki, Orchestra director, said it was her version of a parent-teacher conference, since she doesn’t get to have those. This was her opportunity to share what her students are learning and to talk about the pieces of music.

May 23, 2017 – Friday night Trinity was visited by Christopher Robin, Winnie the Pooh and all the other friends from the Hundred Acre Wood. Tigger bounced, Owl dispensed wise advice, Piglet fretted about everything, Rabbit fed Pooh till he was too fat to leave the burrow, and Eeyore was…well…Eeyore.

May 17, 2017 – The Fine Arts department came together Monday night to honor artists in film, theater, music and visual arts. Orchestra director Mrs. Hernacki was honored by the seniors for her direction over them during their high school career.

Music Festival Fever


May 16, 2017 – Trinity’s fine arts groups had great success again this year at the 2017 Forum Festival! Groups performed in two separate locations at Fullerton College while adjudicators listened, assessed and scored groups based on national benchmarks that are expected for the age range of the groups.

December 13, 2016 – On a chilly December day, what could be better that hot cocoa and donuts? The answer to that question is some spirited accompaniment. During Upper School lunch on Monday, the Jazz Band set up and performed several songs to entertain students, teachers and a few parents as well.

Fine Arts Garners Gold and Silver Again at the Forum Music Festival


May 28, 2016 — For the fifth year in a row, Trinity Classical Academy’s Fine Arts students competed alongside several other schools in the invitation-only Forum Music Festival held Friday, May 20 at Fullerton College. Trinity sent over 100 students from various musical groups to perform and compete including the Symphony Orchestra (grades 3-11), Jazz Ensemble (grades 7-11), Crimson Handbells (grades 9-12), Crimson Chimes (grades 5-8), Logic School Singers (grades 7-8), Crimson Choir (grades 3-6) and the Crimson Choristers (grades 1-2).
