art portfolio

Students will create the same subject of their choice, developing a themed portfolio utilizing 6-10 various art mediums and methods. Perhaps their pet....made out of cardboard, sculpted in clay, as a finger puppet, a tile, mosaic, scratch board, watercolor, or collage.

Learn to use different kinds of loops, events, functions, and conditionals. Investigate different problem-solving techniques and discuss societal impacts of computing and the internet. In the second part of this course, design and create a capstone project you can share with friends and family.

All STEM leads to Rome - Roman technology and warfare! Plan to get your hands dirty while we build catapults, build working aqueducts, recreate powerful arches, make genuine papyrus, build a Roman Road (with snack-size building materials), recreate the Rubicon bridge, build a model colosseum, recreate Roman warfare weapons and shields, as well as learning battle strategies from the greatest military minds in history! Projects have correlating snack projects to sweeten the afternoons. this class will fill quickly so sign up ealry!
