Fine Arts

art (journaling)

Students will journal using creative prompts to explore elements of art, color theory and personal expression.

 music theory 

All music is based on music theory. Rhythms, nots, chords, melodies, harmonies...it's all theory. Understanding that theory will help any musician appreciate and comprehend both the music we listen to and the music we play or sing. This class will take basic note reading and add rhythm exercise, interval training, major and minor scales and simple chords.

Instrumental instruction at beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels, both in private lessons and in groups.

Learn to use different kinds of loops, events, functions, and conditionals. Investigate different problem-solving techniques and discuss societal impacts of computing and the internet. In the second part of this course, design and create a capstone project you can share with friends and family.

Kids will be encouraged to explore and engage their love of science at an early age Each week we will introduce a pioneer in the area of science, and follow up with a fun, related science experiment. They'll learn about people who changed the scientific world and discover that they can too.

Join us as we explore the world of ancient mythology for the original superheroes!  This semester Latin Legion will enjoy scavenger hunts, simulation games, reader’s theater, escape rooms and cultural crafts featuring a new god each week including Zeus, Athena, Hera, Hades, Poseidon, Aphrodite, Ares, Apollo, Artemis, and Hermes.
