New Family Liaisons
A Trinity Classical Academy New Family Liaison serves an important role within our community by welcoming families into our school, and helping ease their transition into our culture and environment. As our school continues to grow larger, we want to grow smaller—thus giving new families a sense of community, genuine friendship, and support.
- There is a team of New Family Liaisons who serve as points of contact to welcome families into our community, to provide guidance and to answer any questions about school uniforms, lunches, dates of school events, athletics, and other matters found in the Trinity handbook.
- The liaisons communicate special events such as the New Family Park Potluck, Meet Your Teacher Day, Back to School Family Picnic, and the first All School Chapel to help new families integrate into our school. They might meet them at events and introduce them to other Trinity families. They may introduce new students and their families to current families on a more intimate level by meeting for coffee, getting acquainted at a park, or getting frozen yogurt. This provides the new student the opportunity to have a few familiar faces on that nervous first day of school.
- Liaisons provide contact information for Parent-Teacher Fellowship (PTF) and explain how this service group impacts the school with Room Parents, Field Trip Parents, Frozen Treat Fridays, Resale Uniforms, Fall Fun Day, and Teacher Appreciation Week.
