Learning to Think Deeply and Reason Well
7TH THROUGH 8TH GRADE
The Logic School years are a pivotal season in a student’s development. As students mature, they naturally begin asking deeper questions, making connections, and seeking to understand the “why” behind what they learn. Classical education recognizes this stage and intentionally equips students with the tools to think critically, reason clearly, and pursue truth with discernment.
THE LOGIC SCHOOL JOURNEY
The Discipline of Thought
At Trinity, Logic School students move beyond simply acquiring knowledge and begin analyzing ideas, evaluating arguments, and understanding the relationships between subjects. They learn to recognize patterns, identify cause and effect, distinguish truth from error, and engage thoughtfully with the world around them.
Through rigorous academics, rich discussions, and increasing responsibility, students develop intellectual curiosity and confidence while continuing to build strong foundations in Scripture and Christian character. Whether studying literature, history, mathematics, science, theology, or the arts, students are encouraged to ask meaningful questions and seek answers through the lens of a Biblical worldview.
