Santa Clarita

The City of Santa Clarita is nestled in a valley approximately 30 miles north of downtown Los Angeles and 40 miles east of the Pacific Ocean. Within 90 minutes, you can enjoy the beach, the mountains, lakes, museums, Hollywood, Disneyland, Universal Studios, Knotts Berry Farm, the Los Angeles Zoo, Long Beach Aquarium and more. In Santa Clarita, there is plenty to do, from hiking, biking, golfing or horseback riding, to exploring the many trails and paseos that meander through the city, to shopping, spending time at one of the dozens of city parks, or enjoying a day at Six Flags Magic Mountain.

With 213,231 residents, the City of Santa Clarita is the third-largest city in Los Angeles County and the 18th largest in the State of California. While many residents commute to the San Fernando Valley or Los Angeles area for work, the City of Santa Clarita is home to more than 6,000 businesses and is consistently ranked as one of the top retail markets in California. Some of the most successful entertainment, biomedical, technology, manufacturing, lifestyle and aerospace companies are based in Santa Clarita. The headquarters for Princess Cruises is located here and some of the city’s largest employers include Boston Scientific, Disney/ABC Studios Ranch, Quest Diagnostics, Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital, Six Flags Magic Mountain, the Master’s University, William S. Hart Union School District and College of the Canyons Community College.
