Trinity's National Honor Society (NHS) students worked in conjunction with Love SCV to prepare 55 Thanksgiving meal kits for local SCV families in need. Each NHS student gathered food from a list provided by Love SCV, put together a box or a bag with all their meal kit items, wrote an encouraging note, and decorated their box for distribution to families in Newhall and Canyon Country.
This was NHS’ fall service project according to Loni Black, NHS Advisor. "During the November meeting, we completed the project and heard from Susan Christopher of Love SCV, who shared the impact of our Thanksgiving boxes on families in the SCV area."
Shane Sypher, NHS' Co-Vice President, spoke on the NHS pillar of Character and then the students helped load the Thanksgiving boxes for delivery.
The meal boxes have been provided and Love SCV is giving back even more. There is an opportunity to donate a turkey to go with these meal boxes and you can sign up at https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0d4eafa62ca6fdcf8-giveaturkey
NHS Advisor Loni Black shared several photos from the NHS November meeting and you can see them HERE.
