Each year, Trinity launches a Day of Giving campaign to support the Annual Fund. This year's was the most successful campaign to date.
In the past, we were able to have a bigger, on-campus Day of Giving event. Due to Covid, we focused our efforts to inform our community about the Trinity Fund's immense importance via online communications.
We designed our own Day of Giving to coincide with Fall Fun Day to make it special for our community and to start off the giving season with gusto! Fall Fun Day is PTF's gift to the school and many families come to campus to enjoy the day with their children. We wrap up our campaign with Giving Tuesday, as the last reminder that Trinity is a nonprofit charitable organization that works hard to serve our community in Santa Clarita!
Our goal for our Annual Fund is always "Equal Participation, Not Equal Giving." In other words, we want everyone to participate at a level that works for them. We want to see 100% participation within our Trinity community for this fall fundraiser. We're almost at 70% participation as of right now. We would love to see all of Trinity come together to support our Annual Fund. Every gift makes an impact for our school.
Nearly 50% of our giving came from Alumni Families, Grandparents, employer matching gifts, and friends of Trinity. We are so honored that Alumni families participated in our Annual Fund, showing that they truly value a Trinity education and want to ensure the future of our school for the next generations.
Many new recurring gifts were initiated and we're so excited about the priority of sustained giving and the importance of philanthropy in our community. In addition, we challenged our families to increase their giving to the Trinity Fund by 20% in our 20th year as a school and the response was enthusiastic!
The Trinity Fund is at $213,000 and growing!
“No independent school charges what it actually costs to teach a child. Most parents want their children to receive everything they can. The more you give, the more your children are going to receive.” - Herb Soles, Assistant Headmaster for Development at Norfolk Academy in Virginia
There is still time to participate in giving to Trinity and take advantage of the tax deductions through the CARES Act for 2020 before the end of the year. You are encouraged to check if your company matches gifts before the end of the year. Their gifts could easily be doubled or tripled! Give HERE.
