Eventful Day for Grammar School!

June 5, 2018 – The Grammar School Olympics are a perennial favorite and today was no different! Every class went outside at different intervals to compete in various events, from a softball throw, to a soccer kick, to potato sack races and more. Awards were given for first and second place, boys and girls, in every class.

The highlight for many is the tug-of-war between each grade and the faculty, beginning with TK/Kindergarten, who came out with a hard fought win! Also beating the faculty were 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade. It seems that the faculty strategized and worked harder against the 5th and 6th grades as they beat both of those grades fairly easily.

After the tug-of-war and the awards, students, parents, and faculty headed down to the field to enjoy some food and quality time with family and friends. There was pizza, Kona Ice, and churros as well as some yummy options from Panera.
