Deep in the Hundred Acre Wood…

May 23, 2017 – Friday night Trinity was visited by Christopher Robin, Winnie the Pooh and all the other friends from the Hundred Acre Wood. Tigger bounced, Owl dispensed wise advice, Piglet fretted about everything, Rabbit fed Pooh till he was too fat to leave the burrow, and Eeyore was…well…Eeyore.

Narrators walked the audience through the familiar chapters detailing the adventures of Pooh and his friends. Familiar songs were a part of the storytelling and Honey, being Pooh’s favorite food, was front and center of several scenes.

Imago Dei students Katy Tennesen, Ethan McMath and Josh Wilson were part of the chorus who played the Bees and the Heffalumps and Woozles and they did a beautiful job alongside their peers.

Mr. Wes Robertson, theatre teacher for the past seven years, went out with a bang in this final production before he moves his family to his home state of Georgia.
