Trinity Cross Country Takes First Place in Heritage League

Nov. 4, 2016 – The Trinity Classical Academy girls and boys cross country teams each finished in first place at Heritage League finals on Wednesday at Griffith Park in Los Angeles.

The Knights boys and girls won all five league meets this season.

Wednesday, Trinity senior Elena Martinelli took first place with a time of 19 minutes, 33 seconds. She was one of four Knights to earn first team all-league honors: Keili Butler, Rachel Struble and Emily Bai were the others.

Catie Galan and Joanna Lee made the league’s second team.

Shane Lintereur took first place in the boys race with a time of 16:54. Lintereur, Hunter Romine, Drew Pfeiffer and Ben McGillicuddy all represented Trinity on the league’s first team. Alex Mosser, Josh Anderson and Lance Lott made the second team.

Trinity qualified for the CIF Southern Section Division 5 prelims at Riverside City Cross Country Course on Nov. 12.
