Tesoro Sports Park is The Trinity Knights New Home Field

June 7, 2016 –  Trinity Classical Academy’s Department of Athletics has secured Tesoro Sports Park, a newly developed 160,000 square acre outdoor recreational sports complex and a division of the Tesoro Del Valle Master Homeowner Association, as their new home and practice field for most of the school’s transitional kindergarten through twelfth grade field sports teams. Tesoro Sports Park is located on the south side of Rancho Tesoro Road between Tesoro Del Valle Drive and Avenida Rancho Tesoro in Valencia. Trinity took possession of Tesoro Sports Park on Wednesday, June 1, and will begin utilizing the fields for team practices in the coming weeks.

Our families will immediately begin to foster a sense of pride for the area, and will care for it just as they do our own campus.”

Trinity Classical Academy have the exclusive rights to use Tesoro Sports Park fields, the equipment and the buildings onsite Monday through Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. for 10 months a year. The months of May and June will be reserved for the Tesoro community and its homeowners, as well as any needed field maintenance. The Trinity Knights varsity football team will begin utilizing Tesoro Sports Park this summer as their new practice field, with soccer, track and field, and cross-country following in later seasons. Most home games for these sports will be held at Tesoro Sports Park with the exception of Trinity Knights varsity football games, which will continue to be held at larger facilities throughout the Santa Clarita Valley.

The Tesoro Sports Park absolutely exceeds all our expectations and needs, and will make our athletic teams, schedules and practices more accessible and accommodating.”

Over the course of the last decade, Trinity Athletics has grown to over 50 teams in fourth through twelfth grade and has athletic clinics to foster player development for students in transitional kindergarten through third grade. With two CIF titles and several athletic scholarships awarded from four-year colleges, this coming year the Trinity Knights will face higher levels of competition in both football and basketball, which will lead to further success for athletes.
