Lady Knights Fall to LA Baptist in Home Opener

| Our Lady Knights faced a tough opponent in LAB but even though they did not win, they were victorious in their efforts. The team fell 13-6 against a seasoned LAB team.
For a team where most of them have never seen a softball diamond. our players are showing incredible courage and vast improvement after only a few weeks.
The Knights were led defensively by the strong pitching of Sadie Andersen (at left) who struck out five of LAB's batters. We saw some great plays by short-stop Lizzie MacAdam and catcher Jacey Massetto. While batting the Knights had several ladies making contact with strong hits by Olivia Sowers and Sadie Anderson.
