"They are way ahead of where I had originally anticipated," Froemming said. "I'm starting to call plays, and the quarterback will look at me from the line of scrimmage, audible, and just go for it. They are really starting to click and are getting so many guys involved."

| | HS Varsity Football: 9/11/10 - What a great day for Trinity! Our first-ever varsity football game on a beautiful sunny day with a fantastic crowd and terrific cheerleaders and a front page story in the Signal!
While the team, led by quarterback, Spencer Klehn (pictured left), got edged 20-16, they put in a heroic effort. Many thanks to our coaches for all their hard work and sacrifice to prepare our team to take the field. We are all so proud of you as we are of our Varsity volleyball ladies who also put in two heroic matches this past week.

James Brooks eludes tacklers against Santa Clarita Christian.
| The Trinity Classical Academy Knights faced off against Santa Clarita Christian in a first ever meeting between the two 8-man tackle teams. Santa Clarita Christian has a storied program, with their varsity last year winning the state CIF 8-man Championship and been ranked #1 in Division 1 this season. Trinity is the upstart on the block, building a program from scratch. The Knights were not only looking for their first win but their first points of the season after being blanked by Calvary Baptist 36-0 and Windward 28-0.
After giving up an early score to the Cardinals, the Knights bounced back on their first play from scrimmage when tailback Shane Larsen broke through the line and rumbled for 60 yards for Trinity’s first score in their history. Larsen added another TD in the first half.
