Oct. 26, 2017 – Both the Trinity Boys and Girls Cross Country teams won the Heritage League Championships at the league finals held on Wednesday at Griffith Park. Hunter Romine won the Heritage League boys championship with a time of 16:30 and Keili Butler won the girls championship with a time of 21:52.
“I am excited for this team. They have worked so hard all season and for them to bring home another Heritage League title is a great accomplishment,” said varsity coach, Kathleen Kahovec. “Now it is on to CIF Prelims and State!”
Shane Lintereur placed 2nd with a time of 17:15. Hunter Romine, Shane Lintereur and Drew Pfeiffer (17:48) were named to the 1st Team All Heritage League. Ben McGillicuddy (18:15) and Judah Palmisano (18:56) were both named 2nd Team All Heritage League.
Keili Butler, Eva Lintereur (23:23), and Rachel Struble (23:06) were named 1st Team All Heritage League.
CIF prelims will be held on November 10 and 11.
